I just read something on americanvision.com (a site aimed at "Restoring America's Biblical foundation") that made me think. “. . . the principles that are timeless; tenets first declared by men of property and wealth, but which gave rise to what Lincoln called, ‘a new birth of freedom in America,’ civil rights and voting rights, workers’ rights and women’s rights, and the rights of every American.” These rights aren't owed just to Americans... they're owed to every person in the world. To the people with varied background and economic status, the people with different religions, or no religion, and all the people on this Earth. Gay people, along with many other peoples, are being killed, imprisoned, and tortured all over the world for 'Unnatural Acts'. Is love unnatural? Answer me this: Would it be fair if all the Hindu people made it illegal to eat beef? Then why is it legal for people to force something someone don't want to believe on them? Some people may believe that gay people don't really exist, and others that their lifestyle is just "wrong", but you're not allowed to tell people what they can and can't do based on those beliefs.
